Job Summary

Unchi Atari, a newly renovated and fully functional restaurant in Sabalgarh, is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our growing culinary team. We have openings for an All-Rounder Chef capable of managing a versatile menu, as well as a Chinese & Tandoor Specialist dedicated to preparing high-quality Indo-Chinese dishes and authentic tandoori items.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional who takes pride in taste, presentation, and kitchen hygiene, while thriving in a fast-paced team environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to the restaurant’s menu standards.
• Specialized Cooking:
  • For Chinese & Tandoor Specialist: Master the wok for Indo-Chinese favorites and efficiently operate the clay oven (tandoor) for marinades, kebabs, and breads.
  • For All-Rounder: Seamlessly transition between different kitchen stations and handle diverse menu varieties.
• Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation following strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Assist in tracking kitchen inventory, minimizing waste, and checking the freshness of ingredients.
• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with assistant cooks and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, timely kitchen service.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record working as a chef or cook in a commercial restaurant setting.
• Skills: Strong knife skills, thorough understanding of cooking techniques, and consistency in flavor.
• Attitude: Passionate about food quality, reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive professional attitude.
• Availability: Flexible to work restaurant operational hours, including weekends and holidays.
