Responsibilities:

• Food preparation and cooking as per Waah Chai’s menu, ensuring dishes meet our quality standards and presentation guidelines.
• Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency in flavors and quality.
• Prepare ingredients, including chopping, portioning, and basic cooking.
• Basic English to manage mobile apps to take and manage food delivery orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with inventory management by checking supplies and reporting shortages.
• Participate in regular training sessions to develop cooking techniques and improve skills in line with Waah Chai’s standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in a fast-paced or cloud kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge/ passionate to learn of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Basic English communication skills to handle food delivery orders.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, handling various tasks as needed.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality food.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
